Performing at CONvergence 2017

Beth Kinderman is a progressive filk-rock musician from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. With deep roots in the geek community, she writes complex, cerebral, and emotional music about myth, transformation, and video game characters who won’t sleep with you.

Together with her band, the Player Characters, she has recorded three full-length CDs and two EPs and is hard at work on a fourth record, a concept album inspired by the works of Joseph Campbell.

“Underneath the Mask” 10th Anniversary Edition!

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the release of Beth’s debut record, All of My Heroes Are Villains, the Player Characters are proud to share a new recording of one of their favorite songs from the album, “Underneath the Mask.”

Logan Award nomination!

Beth’s song “#ThanksThanos” was nominated for a 2019 Logan Award for Outstanding Original Comedy Song! The nomination was easy to get since the field of potential nominees was only half as crowded as usual. ;)
